Who are you?

We are Faculty of Administration and Economic Studies in Uherské Hradiště Akademia Jagiellońska w Toruniu. We are faculty of Torun-based Private University located in the Czech Republic.

What are requirements for acceptance?

For BBA, LLB – High School Certificate or equivalent; for MBA, MSc – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; for DBA, DSc – Master’s Degree or equivalent.

Is possible to transfer credits from other schools?

In general, yes, but it depends on evaluation and studies similarity. Contact us via studies@fves.eu and we will tell you. We can also count Prior Learning Experience / Prior Work Experience (PLE/PWE) towards your studies. Contact us via studies@fves.eu. Please note that there is no automatic recognition and possible recognition depends on our evaluation.

How long can will I study?

Students study according to their pace via online study section; it typically takes 3 years to finish BBA and LLB Studies, 2 years to finish MBA, MSc, and LLM Studies, and 2 years to finish DBA, DSc, Ed.D., and LLD Studies. However, do not worry, our studies are tailored for busy and working people!

What will happen after Application Submission?

Please wait, we will prepare study contract and send it to you. When you make your payment and money arrives at our bank account, we will let you log in to your study system and you can start your studies (depending on chosen programs).

Is there any Study System available?

Currently only MBA, MSc, DBA, DSc, and Ed.D. studies have their own study systems. Other studies are conducted via hybrid studies (e.g., Zoom meetings, e-mails, and such as according to students’ choice).

What payment plans are available? Is there any Scholarship available?

Currently we offer maximum 5 payments without any additional fees. Please note that the last payment has to arrive at our bank account before final thesis submission. However please note that the more time you send, the more you will pay in bank fees. There is no scholarship available at the moment but if you feel you would need any scholarship, please explain your situation via e-mail studies@fves.eu (send us explanation letter in PDF). Note that there are no automatic rights for any scholarship and if scholarship is provided depends on Faculty Management consideration.

I have sent money but did not hear from you back?

Please be patient; International payments can take up to 4 weeks to arrive (depending on your bank and intermediary banks). Our Studies Department will contact you as soon as we receive your payment. We currently support only bank transfer to our bank account (details are to be found in your study contract).

Is there Graduation Ceremony?

Yes, there is a graduation ceremony, typically once per year. However, sometimes it is not possible to conduct graduation ceremony every year (e.g., due to pandemic situations). Please ask via studies@fves.eu about graduation ceremony. Thank you.

I have graduated and asked Faculty to send the Diploma and Diploma Supplement via Post Office?

Please be patient, we need to print your documents out on high-quality paper, sign and stamp them with official faculty stamp, and send it to you via courier. The whole process can take up 4 to 6 weeks. If you do not receive your documents within 6 weeks from your graduation date, please contact us via studies@fves.eu.

Do you support Visa?

Currently we do not support visa for our online studies since the studies are conducted via Internet and there is no need for students to be present at the location.

Is it possible to swich study program?

The only switchable study programs are MBA and MSc and DBA and DSc. It is not possible to transfer from DBA to Ed.D. for example, due to significantly different nature of study programs.

What documents will I receive upon successful graduation? What are details on Studies?

Upon successful completion of your studies you obtain Diploma (“Diplom”) and Diploma Supplement with ECTS (“Dodatek k diplomu”). In the context of Czech Higher Education, the term “Diplom” (Diploma) refers to a formal document awarded to a student upon the successful completion of any study program (e.g., managerial study program or even Ph.D. study program and such). Diploma Supplement is the same as Transcript of Records and provides with further details on passed subjects, exams and studies. Credit Systems ECTS: BBA, LLB – 180 ECTS, MBA, MSc, LLM – 120 ECTS, DBA, DSc, LLD, Ed.D. – 120 ECTS. As general, studies are conducted as further Foreign Advanced Managerial Studies; and currently we offer our studies only in distance (on-line) form.
